Dr. Marina Saldanha

Dr. Marina Saldanha graduated from medical school at Kasturba Medical College in 2005. Following which she did her three year postgraduation in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck surgery till 2008. She attended a short training course at the All-India Institute of Speech and hearing, Mysore and Kidwai, Bangalore as a part of Residency. Post residency she worked in the department of ENT, Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli for a period of three years. Presently, she is attached to the renowned K.S.Hegde Medical Academy, Deralakatte, as Assistant Professor, with proficiency in various ENT procedures like Endoscopic sinus surgery, ear, nose, throat, thyroid, head and neck surgeries. She has a keen interest in research and has presented various papers at state and national conferences. Her article on Human Papilloma Virus(HPV) in Head and Neck Cancer was published and received much appreciation internationally. She is continuing her HPV project in NITTE University. She Attended various workshops in Otology, Functional Sinus Endoscopic Surgery, Rhinoplasty and Laryngology and has a special interest in Rhinology and management of different nasal pathologies.
